Yup, I'm aware that it's a quote from "The Dark Knight" but I wanna know if that's scientifically true. Maybe in certain parts of the world? I'm always sleeping during that time so I wouldn't know.

  1. No, the night is darkest all throughout the night except for when the sun is going down and coming up.  Some nights are darker than others depending on the amount of moonlight is being emitted from the moon, other than that theres nothing else that effects how dark or light the night seems.

  2. I know this from experience, it is very dark from 10ish at night til about 2:30 to 3 in the morning. Especially when there is no moon out. at about 3, there is a blueish color in the sky. This is during the summer months.

  3. no

  4.   It's probably the quietest.

  5. Chiroptera Hominus notwithstanding, it's a quote from Sojourner Truth.  And no, it ain't.  It's most dark when the sun is 180 degrees away from where you are on earth, assuming the moon doesn't s***w things up.  So, it's darkest at (literally) mid-night, which could be 1 a.m. if the sun sets at 8 and rises at 6, for example.
