Is the ninja 650r a good beginner bike for a 16 year old 5'4 -138lbs who lives in New Jersey?

i heard alot of good things about the ninja 250cc, i liked the way it looked and i lived in florida my whole life, always wanted the 250cc, now im finally 16 parents say we are moving to new jersey, and its to hilly for a 250cc, i dont like the look of a 500cc (ninja) anyone have good suggestions? is the ninja 650r just too much power? i lift weights so not like im weak for my size. Also, i was wondering about a crash cage so if i drop it , wont get ruined. thanks

You will have better luck if you ask in the motorcycle section. This area is for bicycles.

Sorry to tell you you'll have to wait one more year in new jersey. It's 17 here for a license and it's not "hilly" here
