  1. NO!

    its awesome

    unless ur challenged

or throw things at ur tv spontaneously

  2. It's only as dangerous as the user. It's not like Wiimotes fly out of people's hands by themselves. There's no reason to let go of the controller. Plus, as long as you use the strap, there shouldn't be an issue with the remote flying across the room.

  3. It really comes down to the person, what kinda of personality that person have.

If they are very jumpy, hyper and very active then it would be really dangerous.

If they are very calm and mature then they wouldn't swing as much.

  4. Only if you don't take it easy on the Wii. A lot of people who have these accidents on the Wii seem to think they have to throw themselves about & fling their arms as hard as they can when in reality it's really not 'that' sensitive.

The strap's can break or loosen around your wrist though, so it's generally a good idea to go easy. Always make sure you use it with a lot of room around you.

My Wii's one of the originals so I haven't got the updated straps or rubber casing but so far none of my straps have broken & the worst I've done is bang my hand on my bed.

  5. The controller strap helps prevent the controller from flying out from your hands.

I have seen people who think that the controller straps are not worth it, and end up breaking a window or breaking their tv.

Also with the way many of the games are, without the strap something can get broken or someone can get hurt

  6. If you play like a jack-*** it is, I had my Wii since launch day and have never had that problem
