  1. YES ! because:

    2.Our military budget will rise.

3.We will make cuts in budget required for education, health etc.

    4.Arms Race in South Asia.

5.It will boost Arms and Nuclear business in U.S .

6.We need not to depend on other 'EXPENSIVE' resources such as wind ,hydro resources, coal etc for electricity generation.

7.Perhaps we will have our own CHERNOBYL'S.

8.Perhaps we will have some more Hiroshima's and Nagasaki's in (south)Asia.

    9.Bigger Electricity Bill .

    10.ETC. ETC........

  2. Yes, off course its benifitial in long run.

Have you visited any countries like Japan, China, UK etc where Nuculear energy is used in day to day life for electricity etc.

Industrial houses also consumes same energy.

NUclear energy is eco-friendly so pollution free and cheap comparative to traditional energy.

Second thing, you can generate as much as energy you want. So restriction is in your hand.

If we want to become super power or just developed nation then nuclear energy it must for our country.

Here some of our members have written as answer that we can strengthen our military and make bombs etc etc.

    To those all,

India doesnt require nuclear energy to stength its military power. It has own indegineous nuclear weapons and no need to go out to beg it. Even if we dont have nuclear weapons, we are so strong that no one can even defeat us including US.

You can have search on Indian Military strength on Google or Yahoo. You will come to know, India ranks 7th in world in military terms.

So conlusion is, for the welfare of Indians, nuclear energy is must.

Tell this to LEFT, MAYAVATI, BJP etc and in next election dont vote either of them. They want India to be in current state only.

  3. beneficial in the long run(maybe) but right now its throwing open the post of PM to Thomari, Chomari, Kumari Mayawati

  6. Yes, as it would help cut the cost of power to a good extent. India imports 100 billion barrel of oil by paying a heavy amount, and the bilateral deal would cut the cost of power.

  7. Congrss is once again shown its optimistic & Futuristic vision. The Nuke deal is very essential considering the emergence of India as Nuclear Nation & requirement of growth in Power sector which is the vision of PM Manmohan Singh to make India a Power county by 2012.

To reckon India amongst USA,China and in South Asia we must enter in this deal no dout please.

  8. Yes, if there are no hidden clause, or changes later which would come in the way of India's interest & provided IAEA keeps its promise as well.  The people of the Nation & opposition leaders have the right to know before its Inked & the final decision is unanimous.

  9. the deal is beneficial as it'll provide long term energy solution to india without compromising on its defence......but it'll cost as much coz india wud have to build seperate civilian nuclear reactors...
