  1. I have been to Olive Garden before, and their food was not very good. It depends on what you order. I ordered the salad, and I have never tasted a salad like that before.

  2. The Minestrone soup and house salad are my favorite combination. The chicken dishes are good as well. I am NOT a fan of the dishes that are breaded because they are too dry. I particularly like the seafood and pasta with a slightly spicy red sauce.

I think you'll enjoy the variety of dishes.

  3. I happen to like the Olive Garden - have no problem with the food or service.  now I want to head to the nearest olive garden.

  4. Olive garden? I have never been there, because i am not American.

  5. if you want fake italian food its perfect

  6. Well if you like Chain restaurants that use processed foods to feed you..and you like it..yes then you will love this place..

Never eat at chain restaurantsa cause you are better off eating at home making things from scratch and using fresh ingredients.

I am 100% sure that all chain restaurants use processed foods. Like they have high trans fats, High fructose corn syrup and they have a lot of salt and Partially hydrogenated oils which are not good for you.

  7. It's not too bad...I'd say it falls somewhere between Fazolis and Maggianos.  The food is OK although they do have good salad and breadsticks.  My favorite is their endless soup, salad and breadsticks lunch special.

  8. It's Ok. It's Americanized Italian Food. Not the REAL DEAL, if you know what I mean. I usually have the Tour Of Italy. It comes with a sample of the Chicken Parm. Fettuchine Alfredo and Lasagna. All meals are also served with endless Salad and Breadsticks. If you are a picky eater, like me and only like RANCH dressing, take your own. They only provide Italian Dressing there...

  9. The thing I like best about the Olive Garden is the all you can eat salad. It's a simple salad in a large bowl that has a nice house dressing, and they will bring all you want throughout the meal. I had ravioli and had to send it back to be cooked a little more since their "al dente" seemed undercooked to me, but I like my pasta cooked well. I've also had other dishes, and in general I like the food and service for the price.

  10. are u serious??? olive garden is awesome and if u dont know what to get there, try the Tour Of Italy, has a little bit of everything, chicken parm. lasagna and alfredo

  11. I find their food fairly bland, but it isn't bad. They're owned by a spinoff of General Mills (food processing company) called Darden Restaurants. Darden also owns Dead Lobster, Smokey Bones, and Bahama Breeze, as I remember.

  12. Yes, get their fettucine alfredo, it's very good.

  13. oh yes! It is soooo good.  If you are not very hungry the soup salad and bread sticks is light but delicious.  But my absolute favorite is Chicken parmigana with marinara and alfredo sauce. It is so good!!!! Or if you want to split the italian trio with someone it is good!  I definitly recomend it.

  14. I dint really like their food, is tasteless never the less  is well presented

  15. I love Olive Garden and always order the Lasagna and a glass of wine! I love the salad bowl and bread also.

  16. yes...usually, but i had a piece of plastic like from a package of hamburger, on the bottom of my lasagna one time. I haven't' gone back to that particular olive garden.

  17. I enjoy going to the Olive Garden. For me it's not a weekly thing perhaps once every six months or so as the food can be very rich. They serve wonderful pasta dishes and the endless salad bowel is great.

My personal favourite is fettuccine Alfredo with mushrooms and shrimp. I live in Manitoba, Canada and the added ingredients are not listed on the menu. However, I always ask for them and it has never been a problem. I have also tried many of their new menu specials and they were terrific. Further, the meals are a great value for the money.

Go on, try it out. You might be pleasantly surprised.
