Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in the 2nd half of 2008. This transition was announced by the Y!360 team in October 2007. There has not been a more specific date announced on the blog yet. Yahoo is trying to centralize its profiling services into one universal profile. They have not said what the new profile system will be named nor have they provided any extensive details regarding its appearance or features. In the latest blog, they said, "We’ll migrate your profile photo, your nickname, your friends lists, blog posts and blog comments."

It is all very confusing. They have a new system called MASH that is like 360 and is in beta testing. They keep referring to a new profile system that will tie everything together and actually be the first email page you see. It is all supposed to happen later this year but there has been no news for months.
