  1. Yes, infact I was standing at a roulette machine in one yesterday and one of the staff members came upto me as soon as he saw me and asked for I.D.

  2. The ones that will break your arm if you don't pay up will not ask for ID.  The ones that are 100% legit will ask for ID since they won't want to lose their licence.  Or if you're really unlucky, they'll let you place a bet but if you win they won't pay out since you're under age and can't really go complaining to the cops about it.

  3. in leicester they do a lot, i've seen it in ladbrokes - alot more since they boughth in the video roulette tables - tends to attract loads of young players - thats there evil plan, get them hooked while there young. not sure about other bookies - if the bookies crowd is older and stick out like and sore thumb and have a milk moustache then maybe.

  4. I have never heard any Bookmaker ask anybody hes age,,,,

  5. just bet online. they'll never know and they have so much different betting options. 5dimes.com is a good betting site very reliable and get paid within 24 hours by moneygram. if you plan on signing up i would appreciate a referral bonus. mention my account number 5d1821026.

  6. I work in a bookies and personally I think no. I've worked for the same company in several different areas and they aren't strict in asking at all. It's all about confidence - if someone looks really shy and afraid to be there, they probably are underage and will be asked for ID. It's definitely not as difficult to go in a bookies as it is to buy alcohol, cigarettes etc.
