Is the pantages theater closing?

i heard the pantages theater is closing in L.A. and i really hope isn't because i was going to see the music wicked there...is this just a rumor or is it true?

The Pantages is not closing anytime soon and has a great line up this coming season, with Legally Blond, Rent, Mamma Mia etc

Wicked on the other hand, is coming to an end so if you really want to see it you should hurry! It;s been there for quite a while.

I don't know where you heard that, but Wicked is booked there into January 2009, and Phantom of the Opera after that. So, no, it does not appear to be closing.
