Is the permit test the same everywhere?

obviously it's not the same, right? what questions are usually on the permit test? is it hard?

Each state/country most likely has different laws/rules...so the permit test will pro not be the same.

The permit test is easy; I passed it the first time I took it. They will ask u questions on signs, signals and <colored curb> markings (ex. a stop sign  has an octagon shape), questions on motorcyles(even if ur not applying for a motorcycle license/permit), questions on turning, lane changes, distance between cars, and distance from a curb for parallel parking (18 in. from the curb), and what to do in an emergency situation <ex. what if ur tire has a blowout>.

<my test was on a touch screen computer. There were multiple choice questions and true/false questions. After u select the answer u think is right, the computer will ask u if ur certain that u want to go with that answer (don't get thrown off track by this). Then the computer will tell u if u missed it or got it correct. It'll also tell u how many u missed and how many more u can miss before the limit is reached. If u reach the limit of the max. amount u can miss, then u'll fail and will be allowed to take it the next day. They asked me less than 50 questions when I took it. <Just relax. If u scan through the book, and look up the things I listed for you, u should most definitely pass>.
