I hope so. Anyone dodgy would have legged it after the first beating he got from Mugabe's people so I take it he really cares for the country.

I hope so, but he really has to be amazing to turn that economy around, I don't know how or where he will start, and how long will it be before the country is any where near functioning "normally"???

magarbe started off as a hero,, he freed the zimbawans from the british he became coruped after that, he may have been already but he was seen as a hero for a long time unforuatley he got greed and the country has started to starve as a results, this guy may be a good person but he also may just be appearing as such the countrry will blossom for a while but we will haver to wait for the long term effects to see what he is really like

yes i think so ,,,he seems to be excepting of whites aswell as  blacks ,,,unlike mugabe ,who murdered whites aswell as his own kind . zim needs the whites and the blacks to work together as a nation to make zim a worthwhile country again.

Watch this space he may have beat him but they may have another vote. It is said that Morgan Tsangeri is as bad with things like violence and having a bad past but lets face it things cannot get any worse under Mugabe he should be convicted of all sorts.

Thing is no matter how bad things get Mugabe is that dull he blames the West for  poverty and the fact that people are that hungry they eat things like bark off the trees.

The West are guilty of many things but this time they are not to blame this is what happens when you get a corrupt government.

He's a very brave one, only time in power will tell how decent he is. If he takes control of the country he's one h**l of an uphill struggle ahead. He needs to control the police who have a terrible reputation and the army. Remaining decent may take a lot of doing.

we would all like to think so, but i cant help feeling the international community will be dissapointed. corruption does seem to run deep in africa's leadership and governments. He may well be a good guy, but what about his ministers and what about the future ministers.

look at what is happening in south africa, everyone had high hopes for a new future with end of apartheid and mandela, but havent they voted for a person accused of fraud and rape?:
