Is the philosophy of universal existence another way of saying we exist "just because"?

This philosophy does not seem to explain cause or affect as to why there is existence.

philosophy is begging a question of reason and logic..

i believe that we all came from a pure form  of energy or life.

why do the source of energy or life  form another form of life?

Because it is inherint nature of the source LIFE to create.

proof that our creator it nature is to create life.

we are the living proof .. human  also perform pro creation... we inherit this nature from our source of LIFE.

i call HIM GOD.

In a nutshell. The question wasn't phrased to answer where or why, but just that we are, and that we deal with what we are facd with at the moment. Our origins, yet it MIGHT define us today, is not affecting us in our perspective at the moment.

Brotherhood constitutes a fact of relationship between every personality in universal existence. No person can escape the benefits or the penalties that may come as a result of relationship to other persons. The part profits or suffers in measure with the whole. The good effort of each man benefits all men; the error or evil of each man augments the tribulation of all men. As moves the part, so moves the whole. As the progress of the whole, so the progress of the part. The relative velocities of part and whole determine whether the part is retarded by the inertia of the whole or is carried forward by the momentum of the cosmic brotherhood.

If we are looking for cause and effect then we could not dynamically choose the divine life if there were no self-life to forsake. We could never lay saving hold on righteousness if there were no potential evil to exalt and differentiate the good by contrast.

WE EXIST:

Nobody can tell you the ‘why’ of God because God is Infinite Being, all-Knowledge, all-Wisdom and Love, and is present everywhere, there is nowhere where He is not. GOD IS ALL THERE IS! How do you create a concept of what is Infinite and Eternal? The intellect of man is limited as you can see. There is the saying, “Man, Know Thyself” and when you have been able to understand your thoughts and emotions, all those things which make up the human personality, then you will arrive at the threshold of the higher consciousness which is at the centre of our awareness as human beings. What is this consciousness that we call “I”? It is how we are made in God’s image and likeness, and this "I", the Christ Mind, represents the doorway to our union with the All, the Divine Presence.

CAUSE AND EFFECT: What is it? I’m not a scientific mind but can try to explain it from one perspective. I’m sure a scientist would do it better.

Cause - is the spirit’s mode of action. Spirit is the director, it acts upon the universal substance by means of creative thought and form comes forth. Consciousness is the moving factor in every thought and in every thing throughout the whole Universe.

Effect - Matter is mind materialized. Mind substance is the basis of everything you see and feel. What you see externally is nothing but effect; cause is within. We are reacting to effects every day of our lives.

To quote my fave author: “The scientists tell us that we live in the universal ether. It is formless of itself but it is pliable and forms about us, in us and around us, according to our thought and word. To get the complete power of this statement we must realise that consciousness is the central point from which thought flows and which forms this pliable substance. Therefore we have to become aware of our consciousness and of our thoughts as well as knowing that we are creating causes in this etheric substance that will form into effects in our bodies or environment. ...”

AS TO WHY THERE IS EXISTENCE: As mentioned above, no one knows the ‘why’ of God or existence. If you did have the answer, the world would be at your doorstep instantly and you’d be rich and famous overnight!    ;- )

Also, I think you will have to see this from the top - down, not starting from the cause and effect state which is the outcome of existence (Being). All has existed in the higher realms, the invisible (higher vibrations) out of which the visible (lower vibrations) became manifested.

There is only . . . What Is.

Philosophy is just the mind overworking itself, spinning its wheels.

It serves best as a catharsis for restless minds. The hope is that one will exhaust one's mental peregrinations and eventually rest in silence, and come to Now.
