  1. Sexist? It's saying "Your Mother was a dog." I think it's an insult toward dogs...

  2. no

  3. Taken literally, yes, it is.  But no native English speaker takes it literally.  It's clearly understood to be an insult to the person, not the person's mother.

  4. no son of a "biscuit" is not sexist because for women we just call them 'female dog'

  5. No.

  6. Sure it's sexist- the real question is " is it 'wrong' "?

  7. No, but its very unfair to his mother just because you don't like him

  8. Yes, it is. Most of the insults are sexist. Calling someone a SoB is an insult per se, so it is sexist.

  9. It's not very nice to say to someone but no, I don't think it's meant to be sexist.

  10. There's an interesting derivation of this one.  Call a warrior a b*****d, and he may shrug it off.  Call a warrior an SOB, and you've said "Yo mamma is a <female dog>".  It's the implied "Yo mamma" part that's supposed to get him upset.

  11. Yes, it very sexist. A female dog has only sexual intercourse when she is ovulating. Her other realtions with a male dog consist on running around, playing, biting, and barking. And when the male dog tries to have sexual intercourse with her when she is not ovulating she bites him. On top of that, a dog's intelligence is lower than a human beings.

  12. its not sexist. there is no male equivalent.
