  1. I don't know if the color makes a difference cause i've used the gold one and it's way better than the chocolate

  2. I use the blackberry pearl and love it!

I've used the Dash and a few others, but this one feels like a phone with the functionality of  a blackberry. The others were all too wide for my taste...

I haven't had any problems with it at all. The speakers aren't the best quality, but it's not a music phone.. don't expect great sounding mp3 ringtones, but it sounds fine when using earbuds and the like.

As for the functionality, it has all of the basic and then some. It syncs with outlook, has a task list, calendar, web browser (though I use opera mini), checks my email,  does text and voice notes, has a camera... and more. I've installed a program that makes the pearl flash different colours when you receive a call, text, or email - xColorEvent.

I don't know much about the Chocolate, other than it's keyboard isn't tactile (you can't feel the buttons) and it's biggest feature is music capability.

I personally like to check technical reviews before I buy, so you might want to check out http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phones/ and see how the two compare.

Edit- They both feature web accessibility.

  3. yes it is a good phone . . my friend has it and it's great =]

it has media player, good camera, good keyboard, and voice command

it is better than a chocolate. . . the chocolate is touch sensitive and i think its not better than the blackberry pearl
