  1. The film adaptation was rated 15 in the UK (usually they are rated even lower these days)

I can't see that there would be any problem in a 13 year old attending JUST because of a little bit of nudity. It is art, not pornography. You can take a 13 year old in a gallery to look at pictures of hairy privates, and statues with willies, can't you?

EDIT the American and European differences on matters like art, culture and nudity are greater than I thought. I am sure Hamlet is safe for a 13 year old, even though there is murder, sexual innuendo, suggested sexual assault and a huge pile of body bags. If in doubt, maybe phone the theatre?

  2. no not at all suitable. back in your box

  3. not really but depending on where u come from, however it's not a play for nudity,it's also very emotional, disturbing and violent.

  4. It all depends on what you want your daughter to see. There IS nudity, and sexual content, and adult things but a 13 year old could understand it. If you feel that she can handle it, then she should be fine but if you just don't want your daughter seeing that kind of stuff just yet, then no.

  5. It really depends on how mature of a 13 year old you daughter is if she is mature then i see no problem in taking her, im sure she will have seen some kind of nudity in her life, plus this isn't pornography related nudity.

  6. NO! That's exceptionally adult material and no where close to teenage-level. The nudity is only the beginning of why it's not something I'd take a teenager to see.

  7. Its for you to decide, however the other contributor is correct.

Nudity is the least of it. There are very adult themes involved including bestiality.

Not for everybody including me. I am guessing your daughter is a Harry Potter fan.

Again your decision but in my opinion seeing this play and the actor who plays Harry in this way may be traumatic for a child.

  8. No definitely not a show for a young girl. Serious violence and sexual content. nudity.
