  1. I would not buy either one of those.  Save up some more money or start shopping for some used stuff.  Check car audio message forums, e-bay, craigs list, etc.

  2. Neither one are even decent brands. Go with a good brand, just purchase their entry level subs. A company like JL, Rockford Fosgate, Memphis, etc...

  3. its very over rated, if you gave it the "real" RMS wattage that it is rated for you will blow it fast

you need to stick with CEA-compliant brands- which means that the amps have been tested and produce or exceed the advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion and the subs can handle their advertised RMS wattage also

here are the top CEA-compliant brands

    Alpine (highly recommend)

    Bazooka (don't like their subs)

    Blaupunkt (don't like their subs)

    Clarion

    Eclipse

    Infinity (highly recommend)

    JBL

JL Audio (very good but over priced)

    JVC

    Kenwood (don't like their subs)

Kicker (the best in my opinion)

    MTX (highly recommend)

    Pioneer

    Polk Audio (highly recommend)

    PPI

    Rockford Fosgate (highly recommend)

    Sony (don't like their subs)

  4. i have 2 pw-1 subs and they hit hard -only had them 2 weeks but i would say if your getting a good deal then go for it -i did a lot of searching on web found only a few neg. input -mostly people want you to go with jl or kicker -but hey thers a lot of other good stuff out there you just have to do your home work- and by the way i have 2-lightning audio amps 750 watts running each sub. good luck

  5. better then some but still no good. look on hifisoundconnection.com the have refurb kickers for cheaper then that
