I disagree with Montitude though, i think that batting line-up was stronger three or four years ago when the big 4 were all in there prime.

The bowling is strong, but it could be improved! If India found a fast bowler who consistently just bowls fast and puts it in the right area then i think India would have the perfect bowling line-up.

Fielding is definitely stronger than it has ever been before

indian odi&20-20 squad are strong only at flat pitches. In Test Cricket squad, our batting lineup is good; bowling is purely based on that day's fate.

Yes for sure, They became strong after the loss of World Cup 50-50. After they got eliminated due to their poor performances in the West Indies World Cup...they worked hard , I mean very hard because We the Indian people kept so many hopes on them but they just ruined it.

So after that, BCCI took some strict rules and appointed Ravi Shastri as their new manager which gave them a new boost because Ravi Shastri is a good cricket mind and he gave his wisdom which was well taken by Indian squad. Also, selection of BCCI was perfect as they gave new oppertunitues to new players who had an althaletic bodies.

I think when they came strong was when Dhoni took the captaincy and won the ICC 20-20 World Cup ... which team wont be high after winning the Cup, this sure means India were strong and when they beat Australia in thier homeland they became the team who can take the number one position,.
