I don't think age is the problem. the problem is that you only have to drive a hundred yards or so and they hardly test anything. Which is why driving in India is so dangerous.

they should adopt a more western style test, have a written test first, then a full half hour driving test testing all aspects of driving. And they need to learn how traffic lights work too!
