I know that they are notified when you first file for enemployment but do they continue to notify them every time you make a claim?

  1. All employers are notified, if you worked for them in the last 3 months. But only when you make your claim. They are not notified when you check in every 2 weeks.

  2. No. Just at the start of your claim.

For continuing benefits, you are asked if you worked during the past week or two, but there is seldom a need to continuously check with your former employer..
