I live in Manitoba and I'm deciding to open up a weekend business in single person dog walking. Is $0.19 per minute is the right price? What do you think?

  1. yes your price is resonable so do it and see it goes but you will be better off saying it more with details

  2. i think its fine....most people dont walk their dogs for an hour anyways so i dont know why you would go by hour....i think going  by per minute is just fine!!

  3. I think you are undercharging.  What you should do is something more like a weekly contract, say for $25 a week you provide 7 half hour walks.  You will get more business that way and make more money.  I would pay that.  It comes out less per minute, but you would have more business that way.

  4. It's ok. Try it for a while and see if it's good for you.

  5. Just charge $2 buck and hour. it's too much calculation to charge by thee minuite.

  6. You have the words SCRAMBLED it's called THE PRICE IS RIGHT. Bob Barker is about to retire at the end of this month.

  7. It would be too hard to keep track of the minutes.  People will quibble over it.  Evaluate the dog, the terrain, your driving distance and come up with a flat rate for that customer.  I had a dog walker for years and years and as the number of my dogs grew or decreased, we renegotiated the price.  There were no surprises.  (In California, 3 years ago, I paid $15 per dog per walk or $20 for two dogs per walk.)
