  1. Israel had made peace with the Palestinians on several occasions.

Apparently to a Palestinian - 'peace' means: "They are not going to shoot back at us."

  2. No, he's resigning because he is ears-deep in investigations (and keep in mind he's got rather large ears).

  3. Only for the anti-Semetists who hate Israel. In reality he is resigning over corruption allegations.

  4. yes/no it is depend on back of scene deal between iran ,israel ,us,palestin  ians  [hamas ] hezbollah, and syria and important thing if in us goverment find some one who be serious about peace in mideal east  ,yes of course we can see peace between israel and palestin ,it is not concern to who is prime minester

  5. No, Israel is the only ones that are going for peace.  The palestinians/Hamas have been murdering people left and right for decades.  The palestinians need to be deported back to Jordan where they came from.  They are against peace.  You can tell by their want to "push Israel into the sea".  They've been saying that for years.

  6. No, the efforts to make peace were a pretense on Israel's part, and always were.

Olmert had an added incentive for this pretense, he was being investigated for corruption, and he could trot out the peace negotiations and say he needed to continue them as an excuse to stay in office.  So he pretended more than Sharon.  He had no intention, ever, of making an honest peace, his party, the Kadima, is sort of the political heir of the right-wing Likud which was led by Sharon until he formed the Kadima party.  Sharon was known for mass murder and backing the settlements in the occupied territories.
