  1. yes.. i took a prep class for my SAT and at first i thought it would just be a waste of money cuz i thought the SAT is just a test of wat i know.. but i was wrong, these prep classes help you BRING OUT wat you know and correct you on wat you THINK you know.. its not a class where you have to go n memorize things, they teach you skills n techniques that help you generate thoughts n solve problems quicker, trust me cuz i took the classes before taking the actual SAT and my results were great, hope i helped n good luck!!

  2. NO, its not. But this is a matter of opinion. First I took the Old and New SAT. So did all my friends. 2 of my friends did the princeton review. I and some other of my friends could not afford and so we got together in study groups like 3 times a week. Needless to say on the old I got a 1300 out of 1600 on the new one i got 2200 out of 2400 on the new one. oh and the first time took the SAT (old one) I didn't have a calculator and I suck at math. The essay may be hard for some people on the new one if writing is your weakness. It's a waste of money. Look whatever you feel is your weak area(s). Save your money and hire a tutor or go to a teacher for help in that area. Oh by the way I totally surpassed my friends who wasted their money on it for the old one they tried my method for the new one. Like I said it's a matter of opinion. Mine is that it's a waste of your money!!!!!!!!!!
