Question:

Is the public REALLY ready to embrace change in our country?

Never mind the war in Iraq, our economy, illegal immigration, the slow stripping of rights in some states, the fact that we endorse torture and the rampant welfare.

If we REALLY wanted to change this country and its system of doing things we would've done it already, but here we are. Yes, ideas float back and forth, but we put down others with bigotry instead of working to maintain a country from destruction that could destroy all of us.

We've also become gluttonous and too comfortable with ourselves and lost our guard at 9/11. We've become decadent, spoiled and fixed on ourselves that we've forgotten how to work with others but most importantly protect ourselves from internal and external threats.

I ask these: Are we scared? Scared to step out of our comforts and ideas?
