Just like laws of Physics....we constantly chase fearlessness...can't cheat that...this is who we are....and just like there cannot be an effect w/o cause....there cannot be a freewill...therefore we are caught in the middle of a domino effect...Karma....Then why do we feel alive? B/c everything does...everything is alive! This is just the way things are...but then why do we sacrific our life for another? I believe b/c we take everything else unpredictable as threat....hence, we try to make them our friend...and when we grow our level of consciousness....in order to make the fear of others(their control over me) go away....we pretend they are part of us....we make them internal....however, this theory is flawed(we are all the same...) B/c eventually...it leads to self-destruction...imagine a place where everyone prayed you like you are a god...then when they would die...you wouldn't care....b/c they are of no threat to you.

What are your thoughts?

  1. The truth about life is no one gets out alive , so do not take it Seriously

  2. My thought about the purpose of life is that we should learn how to lead our life in a trouble free life and at the end of our  life we should  reach the destination of our origin which is located beyond this universe and all around this universe in a static state condition and in which this universe is functioning in a dynamic state. The static state perceived as God and which is nothing but Force & Consciousness and in which this universe is evolved by its mighty force compressive action and evolved as universe & living beings by it consciousness.

  3. The purpose of life is to live.

You feel only as alive as you are.  Survival is mandatory but living life to the fullest is a choice.  We are beings that respond well to affection, interaction and acceptance.

  4. ^ I agree with Julie S. You can wrack your brain over a question that can't be answered, or you can find your own path. None of us really know what happens when we die, so why not get the most you can out of the time at hand?

It would be terribly ironic to waste your life pondering the purpose of life itself, because the purpose of life is certainly not to waste it.

  5. You will not now nor ever know what the purpose of life in general is.  Since that is true, why not choose for yourself what the purpose of your own life will be?

Choose a purpose that you will feel good about pursuing even if you never actually attain your goal.

When you have your own purpose and you feel good about it; all these esoteric questions just don't seem to matter very much.
