Is the quality for pictures taken indoor with a Sony DSC-W170 good?

  1. While I don't own that camera I'm going to say that they're probably not that great unless the area is REALLY well lit. I'd also say that for any other point-and-shoot digital camera.

    The problem with point-and-shoots is that they have a small sensor so they don't do very well in low light. To compensate for that you can turn on the flash but then that leads to pictures that have harsh flash lighting.

    That being said, if you've seen indoor pictures from other point-and-shoots and you're ok with them then there's no reason why you shouldn't be ok with this particular camera.
