  5. Some of the swans on the Thames belong to the Waterman's company.  Every other swan in the country belongs to the queen.  You can only kill one (or eat it live) with the owner's permission.

  14. Some of the swans in England are owned by the Queen, the majority are protected. It is perfectly OK to eat swans in other countries as long as they are not protected species.

  15. The Queen owns all the swans so to legally eat one you have to have her permission. One way to get permission is to attain a Masters Degree from one of the Russel Group universities ie' Oxbridge, Durham, Bath. Then you're allowed to go out and get yourself a swam, of course eastern Europeans think they own the place and go around eating wildlife like it was going out of fashion.
