Is the "Golden Corral" a good option for a vegan?

We'll be having dinner with our class there next weekend.

They do have a salad and pasta bar - along with baked potato - so while of course not totally vegetarian/vegan - there are options there that one can eat if they are.

Most people would just think that you on some 'diet' and watching what your eating vs. making it a point of discussion.

It depends on what you plan on eating. I think most of their main dishes DO include meat. I haven't been there for some time though, but do remember them having a great salad bar! As well as steamed veggies. I would just stick with a vinegarette dressing, as almost all of them don't have any sort of animal product or bi-product. There will definately be something there that you can eat though. :)

EDIT: She said Vegan, the person above me said cheeses and soups. Most soups an cheese have milk in them. Vegans don't eat ANYTHING that comes from animals. Vegetarians, on the other hand, do.

I work in a resturant (a buffet like Golden Corral), and you should ask about the steamed vegetables because meat can be hiding in there. We put ham in the beans and bacon grease, so you should ask before you eat. Just thought you might wanna know!!!

Yeah, I'm a vegitarian, and I love the Goldenn Corral, and I'm sure taht a vegan could eat there too. Maybe you should eat a little before you leave the house, though, just in case. Hope this helps!

well if you wanna eat only a salad and you do have beans and stuff you would have to ask them personally what doesnt have animal products to really know

It's got a salad bar, some soups, chips and cheese - beans etc. so they would have some options.

they have a salad bar......alot of sides that dont have meat in them so yes........youll have alot to choose from!
