  1. There are a lot of reasons, but probably the biggest one, is that the government has engaged in a policy in this country of punishing businesses.

They tax and regulate businesses so much, and look at these companies as if they are exploiting us somehow, because they make a profit.

They should be looking at them for what they are; job producing machines, that make our products.

As a result, their answer is to overtax, and over-regulate, causing these companies to go where it's easier and cheaper to do business.

That's why almost all our stuff is now made in China, Korea, and other places that have welcomed our business.

The response to the oil companies lately - to want to levee gigantic tax increases on them, shows exactly what I'm talking about.

This is a product that EVERYONE uses oil, so making it even harder, and more expensive to do business, is going to drive the oil companies to eventually relocate to other countries, and start pumping oil for someone else.

  2. There isn't much of Made in Anywhere, but China!

  3. Here is how it works today.

An entrepreneur invests his money into start up of a new business and starts selling his product.

The government makes his life a constant regulatory and tax H E L L.

The unions erode away his bottom line.

His suppliers all think his mission in life is to make them all overnight millionaires.

No one wants to work for the fair wages that he offers.

Offshore companies are stealing his patents and selling the same product for less than what he can produce it for.

The made in America/Canada brands are not dying they are being killed.

  4. It is if you shop at Big box stores!

  5. I have an American flag that has a "Made in China" stamp on it.  Does that answer your question?

  6. Not if you make it yourself.

  7. Importing toxic and defective junk that ends up in the trash after we send our jobs and our money to our enemies is foolish.

Thanks to the high cost of fuel, that is starting to change. It now cost almost as much to manufacture elsewhere and ship it as it costs to make a quality product here.

Hooray for high gas taxes. (a facetious ending there.)

Maybe the anti-America crowd will NOW push for lower fuel prices.

  8. Try and buy an American TV or a pair of shoes that aren't custom.

Relax though, we are touting ourselves as the cheaper labor, we are cheaper than Europe, and soon we will be in the race for who can pay their people the least.

  9. Nope,

US exports have increased 7 years straight.

The US is either the #1 or #2 exporter in the world.

The US and Germany switch places every other year, as the largest exporter.

    Just look in your house.

Your Furniture was made in america.

Your washer, dryer, fridge, made in america.

Carpats, water heater, made in america.

    Your mattress's- made in america.

Most of the products that cost alot of money, are made in america.

It is the cheap stuff, that is made overseas.

  10. It sure seems to be. If ya want any replacement parts for your car, ya have to settle for "Made in Mexico". Peace!

  11. America is a dying brand
