Is the "TRUTH" about reality irrelavent?

If everyone is filling in their own blanks, and making assumptions about how or what the universe really is...or its true function, then does this make "reality" obsolete in contrast with accepted fantasies of modern society. Let's use Scientology as an example of accepted fantasy. The truth of course being that it is a Cult that functions as a business. Don't sue me. Thanks

  1. Ah, you are thinking along the same lines I have been.

This goes back to my belief that people can change reality without actually changing what's happening. Which, if that is true, makes what really is happening irrelevant in a person's life.

  2. No, the truth about reality is very relevant.  Just because many people have and continue to ignore reality does not mean that reality does not exist or that their version of "truth" really is truth.

  3. I think you meant "irrelevant".

  4. 3 weeks ago I worked out the meaning of our existance.

Its the most intense road I've traveled and I would not recommend it as an exciting experience.

Scientology is a scam, L. Ron. Hubbard was a pulp fiction writer.

There is one God, and he created the beginning of evolution.

We are all Jesus, for we are all gods children.

Earth is h**l, if you don't complete your natural life path, you'll be reincarnated until your soul is ready to enter heaven.

God told me to spread his love, then gave me the blessing to pursue my dreams, whilst spreading his word.

We then decided I couldn't tell people my belief, for I'm the sort of person you'd never suspect to have found god.

It now seems I'm one of very few souls left on this planet who can speak the word of god, and that frightens me. It puts pressure on my situation, all I want to do is scream the word from here to tomorrow, yet there's so many out there that hold not even faith in themselves, so they're to blind to see, too deaf to hear.... I can't shout something people are just never going to get. Thats the truth about reality, and yes it seems irrelevant to more than imagined. I feel sad, but I can't yell at you all anymore. Good luck all xx

  5. Reality is that which is agreed upon. Since over 10 million Scientologists see it as real and that it actually works, I'd have to say that the fantasy is not ours.

    Good luck with that relevance.

  6. probably, since truth & reality are both viewed from each of our personal points of view.  Some have a life of abundance, some of total lacking--their truths and their realities are polar opposites, yet they are both correct.
