I'm listening to the club song "Hoy es Sabado" and he's speaking Spanish , but he's pronouncing his R's like in Portuguese with and "h" sound. Why? I thought that didn't exist in Spanish, unless I'm just being dumb and he's not speaking Spanish at all...?

  1. Yes, you are sure.

The Portuguese H don't have sound and this H in Hoy (don't have sound too).

In Portuguese 'Homem' (man) the sound start with the vowel 'o'... and this happen in all of the words that start with the 'H'.

And I know this because I´m portuguese teacher, but I know Portuguese, English and Spanish.

  2. You're noy being dumb... actually you have quite an ear..... he's speaking spanish.... but he's definetely not a native spanish speaker, he has a portuguese accent......that's why you hear the "r" the way you do.....

  3. Shouldn't be.

  4. i think that he talks fine
