Is the "upper west side" of manhattan considered a nice area?

  1. depends on how "upper".  The west side is generally a nice area, but like any big city, it has it spots here and there.


  2. Yes its very nice and known for its cultured and intelligent residents as opposed to the upper east side which is known for having a very rich and shallow population.
