  1. Pretty much.

  2. I guess you should also check insurance quotes for Range Rover before buying one, for example here: http://carquotes.imess.net

  3. Depends on what you are planning on using it for.

If you really want to do some serious off-roading...probably not the vehicle you want to buy.

If you're looking for a luxury class vehicle that can get you through most on-road conditions...then it's something to look at.  I'd class it with BMWs, Benz, Cadillac Escalade, etc.

I'm not familiar with the specs, but from what I remember seeing in Range Rovers they typically run an existing Ford Powerplant which means that you'll what what problems exist upfront and typically how to fix them.

Don't know if it has 4WD-Low, but there are a lot of cars out there that are actually AWD being marketed as 4WD.

Personally, it's a good looking vehicle and I'd consider it.  If you're into gas mileage, this isn't for you.

  4. its overpriced, unreliable and now made from an indian company that sells 2500 dollar cars.

now let me ask you this, if hyndai made range rovers would you really pay that much for them?

  5. They really aren't too good. Even though it is supercharged, it really isn't too fast. It does 0-60 in around 8 Seconds, has a HORRIBLE, I repeat HORRIBLE Climate System. It is not that it does not blow air well, it is just so confusing, it is better just not to bother with it.

Don't even get me started with reliability. I used to own a 1997 Land Rover Disco, I think I practically owned my rental car! It was in the shop for petty repairs, which eventually turned into $1000+ Repairs.

I am not going to even mention the gas mileage. I am guessing I already turned you off from the car.

Even though this car seems pretty awful, it offers stellar AWD, Comfort, Street Credit, and Envy from the neighbors.

    Good Luck

  6. If you can afford the car, the maintenance, the repairs, the gas then no.

  7. 1. gas is getting very expensive.

    2. land-rovers are large vehicles that use lots of gas.

    3. land-rover brand has a bad maintenance reputation.

    4. i would not recommend ANY vehicle that is not "green".

  8. yes

    Range/Land Rovers are very unreliable.

the parts and service are expensive.

they were once great but now they are overpriced and prone to break down often.

if you like working with tools and have a good credit line at the parts shop go for it.
