  1. An elitist is someone who feels like he operates on a higher plane than regular people.  For example, treating them like they can't control themselves and giving them free drug injection needles or condoms. Or taxing them to spend their money on the poor because they can't or won't do it themselves. I don't see the elitism in President Bush's joke.

  2. Bit 'o both.

  3. this is neither,only a trained observation.

  4. Bush might have been joking, but it was also the truth.

that very same night he made a very inappropriate "joke" about WMD's.  In light of the fact that there were mothers and fathers that would never again see their child because of "his" war, it was extremely tasteless.

  5. Its called a joke, you know like the guy the democrats have nominated for president.

  6. I have a two story house with a spacious backyard, does that make me an elite?

  7. Pandering.

That's who can afford to go to those parties, even on the Dem side.  Plates start a minimum of a thousand dollars.  You don't think its the fire fighters and the teachers there, do you?

And yes, Mr. Obama has those parties, too.  Mr. Clooney is selling plates to one for Obama in Europe right now. You didn't think Obama's money came from US Citizens did you?  No. It comes from those who want t weaken us.

  8. No, Bush was joking.  Democrats sure don't have a sense of humor..
