  1. No. I think it was a smart, strategic move on his part to insure the power for his party as long as he lives...at least.

  3. Cuba is a deeply rotten communist dictatorship where many people grow up without knowing Western Democracy. It will be a difficult task to teach the Cubans democracy and how to vote. Perhaps some German pen pushers who worked on the reunification of Germany and helped the east Germans in to civilisation could help when the commies are ousted.

  4. No this is a hand off of one dictator to another...nothing will change unless the Cuban people have another revolution and get the military on their side.

  5. I could be wrong, but I don`t think they have elections, do they? any way nothing will change down there. they are so "simple" that  castro`s answer to power outage, was buy every one a portable generator.
