  1. Depends on your definition of the word "fun."  It's not a fast ride, and it's pretty old (so the animatronic animals really look fake), but it's OK.  Just be prepared to get a little wet and to hear a bunch of bad jokes from your guide.  Put it this way:  Birnbaum's Official Walt Disney World Guide lists the Jungle Cruise as one you don't want to knock yourself out trying to do.

  2. It's okay. It's not the greatest thing in the world. If you have never been on it, it would be fun to experience, but once you've been on it you've been on it.

  3. Yeah the guy above got it right.  But if you head over to the Animal Kingdom, you have to check out the Kilimanjaro Safari, this is a ride where you can see real animals roam the plains.  My only suggestion is to go first thing in the morning when all the animals are out and feeding, this is the best time to see them all.  The ride is similar to the jungle cruise with the live commenting and a few twists to make it fun but is way better.

  4. I would not expect much.  The best thing I can say about this ride is that it gives you and the family an opportunity to get out of the heat and let your feet rest for about 10 minutes.  It's shaded and somewhat relaxing.

The water is dingy green, the animatronic animals are about 25 years old, if not older and the whole scenery looks like it could use a major makeover.

The two times I rode this ride we had a 'tour guide' who spoke on the PA system so loudly (he was sitting 4 feet from the last person on the boat, mind you) that you couldn't understand what he was saying, only that it was mind-numbing.  Even when people complained he just smirked at them.  Made the headache a bit worse.

In the end, if you want to relax your legs but still give the kids something to look at, go on the ride.  Just take ear plugs and a big dose of Excedrin Migraine before hand.

  5. Well the one at Disneyland is a nice break from walking around all day.You just sit and look at all the realistic animatronics and enjoy the ride. It isn't really "fun", but it is nice break from all the walking.

  6. kinda. its a good after lunch ride because it is slow and you can tell its fake. but the people that drive the boat are funny. have fun.

  7. It's old, its cheesy and i think its a lot of fun. its not meant to be a thrill ride but just something to amuse you. if you want splash mountain, then go on splash mountain. if you are open to having fun then go on it.

  8. I would have to disagree and say that it's not fun. All you do is ride around in a circle and look at animatronic animals spray water at you. sometimes the commentators on the boat are clever but I would skip it. It's not a must see. When it gets humid or after you eat, it's something to do because from my experience the line is usually really short and the boats are covered so you can beat the heat for a while. If you have small kids they might enjoy it, but I ususally skip this ride.
