  1. I am getting married in sept. and our ring bearer is a mutual friend of ours. he adores my fiance and so we asked him to be in it. It can be anyone. they can have more then one. if your old enough why don't yoiu talk to them about being ajr. groom like a jr. bride. or maybe even be an usher

  2. I don't believe that the ring bearer has to be on the groom's side of the family. It can be anyone that the couple knows, ranging all the way down to a friend's son. The ring bearer just ends up being part of the groom's side of the bridal party (i.e. part of the groomsmen). As long as the bride and groom agree to have you as part of the party, I don't think that there is any problem, in my opinion.

  3. First of all, the ring bearer is usually a young child, not much older than 7 or 8.  Hopefully you're not that young, because if you are, where in the world are your parents and why in the world are they letting you on the computer?  So, assuming you're old enough to be on the computer like this--you're too old to be a ring bearer.  But, to answer your question, the ring bearer can be from either side of the family--it's usually whoever has a young male relative or close friend's child that's the right age.  Like I said, you're too old.

  4. The ring bearer can be anyone the couple wants to have in the wedding.  It is usually a younger child, though.  If you're old enough to be on here, you're much older than the average ring bearer!

  5. no not at all. I'm getting married july 09 and i'm havin my 1 year old son. It should be on agreements with the bride and groom whos in the wedding. Sometimes some couple will go that siblings will be in or Brides picks her bridesmaids our and the groom will pick his groomsmen out!

  6. The Ring Bearer can be anyone the couple chooses. Hey I have heard of weddings where the couple picked a pet to be the ring bearer. So, in my opinion if they can make a pet a ring bearer then anyone can be one at any age. Lots of traditions have changed. It's up to the couple to decide and not anyone else.

  7. Yes correct the ring bearer is usually on the grooms side of the family.

  8. The ring bearer can be from either side of the couple, and does not have to be a boy... I am a girl and was my brothers ring bearer when I was 5 or 6. So either side is fine.

  9. The ring bearer is whomever the couple chooses, but they will have to ask you.  It would be rude to volunteer.  Just wait and hope that they give you the honor.

  10. Not true. Just pick the most responsible cherubic kid you can find...

  11. Not necessarily - the ring bearer can come from either side of the family, depending on who has a young male relative of the proper age (usually around 5 years old, so you might have missed the mark). But you definitely should NOT ask your cousin if you can be in the wedding - that's completely rude. If she wants you to participate, she will ask you.

  12. No it is not true but if you can put this question here you are too old to be the ringbearer which is usually a small boy around age 5 or younger

  13. IT CAN BE ANYONE-THEY CHOOSE-  SHOULD BE YOUNG-PERHAPS YOU CAN SEAT THE MOTHERS, BE AN USHER, BE A GREETER---IM SURE THERE IS SOMTHING IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO DO======TELL HER YOU WANT TO BE IN THE WEDDING!!!!!!!!!!
