In my own view i do not see robots as threat to humankind, because they are a way of making things easier and faster such as them helping in large industries. The only way they might be a threat is them replacing human beings in industries, thus making more people jobless.

Robots are helpful. But if robots learn to learn or adapt, then they're a threat to us, just like in the movies.

Robots are used to decrease (or make safer) human workload by process automation.

While they're not a threat in the sense they could 'take over', they do mean less employees are needed in certain manufacturing industries.
