  1. I don't know...sorry.

  2. oh, my.  absolutely, yes.  I could not live without my roomba and s****..  watch ebay.  just be careful and be sure to read the sellers narrative about what you are buying.  you do want to buy so that you get the years warranty.  the company is absolutely wonderful to deal with.  very easy to get in touch with and very helpful with replacement parts if needed.  that would be my firm suggestion, get something with the year warranty.  good luck.

  3. i love the roomba. the s****. takes a bit more maintenance... there was one time where it wouldn't pick up water anymore, but all you had to do is basically blow in a thing on it with a straw and it worked again. although, now the s****. needs a new battery which is like $60. i have a hoover floor mate which i really like for cleaning floors.

  4. Reports have said that Roomba or s****. will not pick up the dirt efficiently only good for light duty and inbetween vacuumings to pick up light dust, and both these bots are not worth the money they charge, they are just high priced gimmicks, save money and buy a decent upright vacuum or motorless sweeper such as a Bissell Sweeper, there are excellent buys in these types of cleaners, check on reviews of these types of cleaners when buying at some online websites such as amazon to compare cleaners and get more information on your choice of cleaner Good Luck !

  5. My step mom has two cats and two dogs in her house and she recently bought herself a roomba, she loves it. She bought it full price if I remember correctly and prolly has had it about a year. Her only complaint is the fact is has trouble going down on a slight incline from the living room to the family room.

  6. I own one and since I work for HSN I get them at a good price.  The 500 series are worth it for the roomba (under $200). I haven't tried the s****. but I'm waiting for one with more capacity.  They work pretty much as advertised. they don't get tangled easily in cords or rug fringe.  They do require some maintainence in cleaning the rollers but it's pretty easy to clean.  I have 4 cats and a dog and all hardwood except for some indoor outdoor carpet and it works great on all that. I would use it for deep pile but normal rugs should be fine. They can't getinto nooks an crannies that you would use a vacuum wand for but for general cleaning they actually do work.

HSN was running a special for a 500 series roomba and an older model for $300 and they will take it back within 30 days no problem.
