  1. If you are drinking pasteurized / homogenized milk, the calcium in that garbage is altered and your body will not digest it unless the vitamin D is added to force your body to absorb it.  This altered calcium is toxic to the body and causes cataracts, bone spurs, and kidney stones.  It also makes you rely totally on the lactase enzyme in your body to digest it.  Only about 20% of the entire population of the world has enough lactase to digest this garbage at all after the age of 1.  Skim milk is a brain child of the dairy industry that is making lots of money on the misinformation that fat is bad for you and causes you to gain weight.

The homogenization process was invented by the dairy industry when they got tired of competing in the market due to people knowing that the quality of the milk relied on the amount of butterfat in it.  The more the butterfat, the better the milk.  So, they decided to homogenize it to eliminate the ability of anyone being able to see how much butterfat was in the milk.  Brilliant, eh?  Well, this homogenization process crushes the butterfat cells and produces loads of foreign protein chards that cause the body to produce homocysteins that generate allergies!

So, they decided to go with the LOW FAT idea and make skim milk.  The problem is that skim milk doesn't taste like milk and it is BLUE.  So, they add titanium dioxide (white paint) and powdered milk solids that contain more chards of garbage to the milk to make your tongue believe it's real milk.

The pasteurization process does NOT kill ALL the bacteria.  In fact, it leaves about 2 to 3% of the bacteria in the milk.  The standard for milk does not require ALL bacteria to be gone, but there is a minimum allowed.  Since the cows are fed grain, the milk contains lots of omega 6 fatty acids and the cows must be fed antibiotics to keep them standing up.  The amount of dead bacteria bodies in pasteurized milk is almost 200,000 per ml. with some living bacteria that cause Crones disease.  93% of ALL Crones disease patients have these bacteria in their colons generating lots of inflammation.

So, skim milk is cheaper for the dairy guys to make and you are being told by very ignorant people to drink that junk.  The fatty acids in the butterfat from good quality milk is invaluable to the human body.

The best milk is from cows that are fed grass, NOT grain and allowed to roam free in fields of grass.  These cows do not have human pathogens in their milk, but are loaded with beneficial bacteria that assist in the digestion of the milk.  The amount of calcium in this type of milk is high and of good quality that the body actually can digest without the aid of vitamin D.  In fact, the so called vitamin D being put into commercial store bought milk is from a synthetic source and damages your DNA.

One of the very best things you can do is to make "homemade keifer" milk from a high quality raw milk.  The fermentation process removes most of the lactose-glucose from the milk and is pre-digested.  It contains huge amounts of probiotic (friendly bacterial flora) that greatly improves your health.  It's easy to make.  Just take an open top jar and fill it with raw milk (leave about 2 inches at the top) and put keifer grains in it.  Put a towel over the top of the jar and let it sit on the counter top for 2 days.  I suggest stirring it a couple times during this process.  Then, poor the contents of the jar through a strainer and collect the keifer grains and cottage cheese like looking stuff and poor it back into the jar and fill the jar again with more milk to make another batch.  Take the strained keifer and poor it into a glass and refrigerate for a short while or drink it straight.  It is sour because the lactose-glucose sugars have been removed by the bacteria.

This is the way many primitive people preserved their milk and became very healthy.  The calcium from this mixture is quite incredible.  Drink raw whole milk, never skim milk.

    good luck

  2. Yes! The only thing that is different is that Skim milk has to have .5% or less milk fat and Whole Milk can have anywhere from 3.1%-4% milk fat

  3. Yes, the only different between skim and whole milk is the fat.

edit: why would all the correct answers get a thumbs down?

  4. Yes.  But if you drink skim, then you don't get all of the fat that whole milk has.  If you drink whole milk, then every week just go down 1%.  So like have 2% and then 1% and then go down to skim.  That's how I did it.

  5. Yes.  Skim milk you just don't get the fat that is in whole milk.  As an adult, you should only drink skim milk.  Even 2% milk has about 33% fat.  Check the label and look at the calories from fat compared to total calories.  It makes up 33%!  Crazy huh?

  6. The calcium content is usually HIGHER in skimmed milk, than in 'whole' milk.

This is because the fatty part of the milk doesn't contain much calcium, and the fat is removed by skimming. So you are putting more of the calcium-containing part of the milk into a glass when you fill it up with skimmed milk.
