Is the sap from bradford pear trees harmful?

because yesterday some dripped into my eye, and onto the side of my face, and my entire face just burned really bad, so i was wondering if i should go to the doctor...

The side of your face will be fine. I would maybe go to an eye doctor though. As Im sure you know the sap was sticky so I would try to wash out your eye really well and if there is any blurriness or anything go to an eye doctor.
