Is the secret life of the american teenager going to be a short series?

I was on tv.com and in the episode list there are only 12 episodes and the last one is titiled "The Secret Wedding of the American Teenager"

is the show going to be a short series? or ?

It's official that their is going to be a season two, but in my opinion the show could last alot longer ( 5,6 or maybe even more seasons) I'm addicted!

I think that there are only 12 episodes in season 1... but more in the whole show.... I think the season finale will be the wedding.

I hope not because there are a lot of things that they can keep doing with that series and that would mean that it's already half way through. that would be disapointing.

Thank heavens that it is not going to be a short series.  A couple of days ago (I think) or a day ago, I was on www.tvguide.com and I was watching this video-interview with Shailene Woodley (aka Amy) and Kenny Baumann (aka Ben) and they were saying that they recently heard that the show or producers had just ordered about 14 or 13 more episodes to film.
