Is the sigma 70-300 gd (non apo) version any good? ?

I have the canon 450D camera and i m looking for a low end lens...i m jus a hobbyist...many tell me its a blunder to buy the non apo version of sigma ...i mainly need this lens for bird photography ...is apo version worth the extra money i invest?

  1. You'll be happier with the APO version. Its worth the extra money.


  2. Considering the price of the APO version over other comparable telephoto lenses from other makers, it would be preferable to go to the APO version for its reduced chromatic aberration.
