Is the slimy egg white discharge a sure sign of ovulation or could it be something else?

Had my period 8 or 9 days ago so I was expecting to ovulate at the end of the month. Now, totally confused about this. This is only my second month of counting the days and stuff and now I am thoroughly confused.

The discharge was clear and slimy just like others report. What does this mean for me personally? Does that mean i ovulate earlier than 14 days?

The discharge that you have during ovulation will be clear, slimy discharge that is extremely stretchy. It's that way during ovulation to help the sperm get to it's destination easier :) Basically, if it's really stretchy then it's more than likely around the time you are ovulating. Hope this helps!

Yes, you could have ovulated. I've been ttc for a year and I am also on clomid so I know exactly what to expect around ovulation time. I get the same clear discharge that last for about a day or two. Good Luck!

Ovulation occurs about 5-7 days after the last day of your period, not at the end of the mnth. Clear and slimy discharge can just be from having s*x or a possible yeast infection. Discharge does not happen with ovulation.
