I've heard that the sound quality is bad in the rows of seats that are under the Mezzanine level at the Pantages. Is that true? Thanks to the fellow Wicked fans who answered my previous questions.I've never been to the Pantages but I heard it's small.

  1. You'll be fine!!!!

  2. The Pantages could be called small compared to say, the Gershwin for example, but in no way is it a small theatre. The sound quality is fine, that's almost the exact same row I was in when I saw The Lion King at the Pantages. The theatre is set up so every sound is amplified enough for everyone to hear everything, even those people in the seats at the very back of the Mezzanine.

  3. I was one of the respondents to your former Q, and assuming that sound not only travels outward but upward, the MEZZ level does absorb some. I'm not aware of any onstage, overhead Mic's that project to speakers, but in UU, as I said earlier, you will be a distance from the stage, no matter the size of the theater. Your greater issue might be defining details you can see.
