Is the spiderman ride at Universal florida the same kind of ride as back to the future?

I don't like rollercoasters, but can do rides like back to the future because if it becomes too intense I can close my eyes and it stops. Is this ride and the simpson ride like that?

I haven't been for quite a few years but if I remember correctly the spiderman ride is a laser shooting ride (like buzz lightyear at the majic kingdom). You're sat either on your own, in twos or in threes. There are two or three laser guns to fire at the targets. Your sat in a cart like thing on a track but its not intense, you don't need to be strapped in or anything. If you shut your eyes you wont score very highly lol

not really their very different bttf you stay in place and it moves you around in spider man theirs actually track but its not to intense i don't like extreme  rides like rollercoasters

The other person is remembering a different ride.  Spiderman is not a shooter.  

Yes, it is a simulator like Back to the Future was.  The only difference is that Spiderman does actually move from scene to scene some, but not dramatically.  Future just bounced around a little.  Spiderman does actually progress through different areas.  But yes, you can close your eyes if it gets too much for you and you will be ok.  There are no drops or anything.  It can make you feel as if you are dropping, but you don't really.

I have not ridden Simpsons yet personally, but I understand that it is the same way.

Both rides are simulators, but each are a little different. The Simpsons ride is in a giant Imax dome, while the Spiderman ride at Islands of Adventure actually progresses into different rooms in front of 3D screens. Both rides are extremely fun, and the Spiderman ride is actually my favorite ride at any amusement park, so I definitely wouldn't skip this one if I were you. Oh, and the shooter game the first poster was talking about is more likely Men in Black.
