Is the stage set for World War III?

I'm not a conspirator theorist or a doomsayer or anything, but to me it feels like we're on the brink of something big. The US is at war in Iraq. Russia is at war with Georgia. 2 US aircraft carriers, in unconfirmed reports, are heading to Iran. Iran is building nuclear facilities. South Korea is, well pretty much, trying to go to war with anyone that will bite. Does anyone else see the pattern? It just looks like all the puzzle peices are fitting together perfectly. It's like a hurricane. Every weather condition is perfect for it to form. What does everyone else think?

Don't worry too much! WW III was the "Cold War", and Ronald Reagan won it. WW IV is the worldwide war on terrorism which is being won by the US and it's allies.

Can anyone honestly believe that this world is going to go on forever? The world is going to end, it's just a matter of when.  2012, 2025, 2030, 2040 and 2050 are years that secular, educated, genius scientists have given in predicting the end of the world. Why do you think governments are throwing so much money into space exploration?

Well the USA is not at war with Iraq, the war ended back in 2003.  We are on a peacekeeping mission now.  The carriers that are heading to Iran, well the USA already has two carrier groups in the Persian Gulf already, cause well they are aiding the troops on the ground.

South Korea would not have the ability to fight anyone except North Korea as they are on the southern part of the Korean Peninsula.

Russia is attacking Georgia.

However I do not see how this fits into WWIII, as you left out well all of Europe, China, and India all nations that would need to be involved in the conflict either with or against each other.
