Is the standard leatherman tool allowed in luggages in the airport?

I want to buy a leatherman tool, and I want to know if it will be confiscated or I unfortunately be held at the airport?

Put it into your checked luggage for the hold.  

DO NOT try to take it on board in your hand luggage or it will be confiscated and probably destroyed.

You can't carry it in your hand baggage. It is illegal even to present it to security at the air port. You can put it in your checked in baggage, which is permitted. Please refer to the following web site for more information:
