  1. Yeah. It is real. Real Federal Reserve notes.

The money was borrowed from the Fed and will be paid back by - yep, you guessed it, us.

  2. Yeah it's real, we got ours. But my brother (has student loans) and he didn't get his because he had student loans so idk if you have those or not but if you do then you might not get it

  3. It may take longer than normal to get to you. I know one person whose check took a week after the letter to get their check and with a holiday and a change of address, it may take longer.

  4. It all depends on the last few numbers of your SS#.

  5. Yes, it is real. I received mine exactly one week later. Mine was supposed to be on 06/06/08 and I received mine in my bank account on 06/13/08. Try calling the IRS and ask them about it. They open at 7:00 am to 10 pm (Mon-Fri).

  6. It's real but won't help the economy much. But congress gets the "do something" disease so they had to do something.

  7. Yes the checks are real. But they are being sent out according to the last two numbers of Social Security numbers. You can read more about the schedule at this site. Compare your last two numbers with the schedule. Then you should have an idea when you will receive yours.

    http://www.irs.gov

If you and your husband are both tax payers. You'll receive six hundred a piece. Plus three hundred for every child you have. Some of the checks paid to tax payers normally income tax return. Have the payment included in the income tax check.

Check out your husbands last two digits of his social security number while you look at the schedule. If his is a higher number then yours. The check might not come until his number is scheduled.

    Good luck. :-)

    Edit:

With the fourth holiday and your change of address. That might be what's holding up you receiving the check. I found the irs site to be easy to find the schedule of when the checks are/will be sent out.

  8. FIRSt we were going to get ours (last #17) in May, but it didn't come until last week.  They do seem to be running late, and your address change may have something to do with it.

Check the irs.gov site for more information, but they don't make it easy you may have to do some clicking.
