Is the store Rinascente expensive? What are the best..?

I'm going down to Rome and Firenze in May. I'm looking to shop a little bit in both cities, i heard about a store called Rinascente, but i'm looking for some bargains, so is this what im looking for? If it's expensive then what are your suggestion for some good clothing stores for women in Rome and/or Firenze at reasonable prices.. :) thank you.

Well Rinascente is quite expensive

In the main road you can find less expensive shop.

I can suggest you to make shopping in rome that is less expensive.

The most important Rinascente is in Milan.

Next to Rinascente there is Galleria Colonna (also called Galleria Sordi), another good place for shopping (not so expensive).

The shopping streets in Rome are Via del Corso, Via Condotti, Via Frattina, Via del Babuino and the Spanish Steps area. Another street is Via Cola di Rienzo (Prati-Vatican City).

it's an italian chain ...pretty they care a lot of good qualitY  brands as well. So you know you'll buy something good. and they care from house stuff thru clothing

the prices are maybe high maybe low ..i can't say

it depends on your budget ...usally Italy it's never cheaper then american  stores ..i can guarantee that to you !

they are not so expensive! but let me tell you that you should also check some  boutique  even just to see what the have ...not to buy you know? so italian ,such beautiful stuff unique and most of all fashion in italian way

Rinascente is a chain department store.  Unlike the ones in the states, they are normally smaller in Italy.  In Firenze, you can find designer stores and budget ones all compacted near Duomo area.  If you don't mind the hassal from annoying eastern europeans (normally romanians), try San Lorenzo open market which is just right next to Duomo.  Be sure to bargin there.  Enjoy your trip!
