Is the story mode in smackdown versus raw 09 better?

I mean does it repeat itself year after year? can you wrestle and keep your title and defend it? Can you retire after many many years? also how else has it really improved please help me thank you

from what i read i think this year's smackdown vs raw is going to be similar to mlb 06 the show.  i think you will be able to retire when you want and keep your title until you lose and complain to the manager. hope i helped!
