  1. Hi,

Sorry to say that to a degree the stories are true. Human organ stealing has been reported in many countries. Not just kidneys but also other parts and even skeletons, there are documented cases of teenage girls with good teeth being murdered and boiled for there skeletons..

Yet another sad fact in the history of mankind!!

  2. No,it's an urban legend.  I transplant kidneys and there is a lot more to it than just choosing someone and taking their kidney out.  Before a kidney is transplanted into a recipient, there must be specific tissue typing done to ensure a match.  More than just knowing blood type, markers are identified in blood and matched to potential recipients.   Kidneys and pancreas are the two organs that are matched in this fashion.  Other organs are strictly by blood type alone.

  3. The story is true, and it took place in India within the last year.

The Doctor involved was a landed immigrant practicing medicine in Ontario Canada, and he and several others were involved.

The ring was broken up, and he is in jail in India awaiting his trial.
